Sized about 20mm, green with chevron-like marks on its back (center points towards head). Legs are in green to yellow in colour with black spines. The females may vary in colour when carrying eggs to to fit their surroundings. teir eggs are orange in colour. Its bite is painful, but not dangerous. It is one of the beneficial pest in the field of agriculture as it helps in controlling several moth larvae.
