Schizocephala bicornis also known as the Indian grass mantis, a very long grass mimic or other slender vegetation in nature growing up to around 90mm in body length and sometimes longer. Mainly they are found in arid and semi-arid grass lands in India. Like most mantids, females of this species may consume the male during the mating process. Feeding habit is live or freshly dead insects (Crickets, cockroaches and flies) are ideal.
