Common paper wasp found in India. Their nests are made up of cellulose (collected from plant sources) with the addition of their saliva. Thus it receives the name PAPER WASP. Only one single queen is there in a nest and workers are indistinguishable. Normally they build their nest in inaccessible places where they can hide from their main predator like Greater banded Hornet (Vespa tropica). Sting produces painful swelling, but no drugs needed. Immediate remedy apply some clay/wet soil on the sting spot.
